Elder Nathaniel
C.B. Jones, Sr. preached his initial sermon on Sunday, March 2, 1975 in the Bible Way Church, Richmond, VA, Bishop Christal
T. Hairston, Sr. Pastor. Two weeks later, Elder Jones started ministering in his mother’s home, where the first interest
of the church was born. A month later service moved to Downs Funeral Home in Crewe, VA.
In 2001 the Lord gave Elder Jones a vision of changing the church name from Community
Bible Way Church to Dominion Worship Center World Wide Ministries. After toiling with the changing of the name, Elder Jones
obeyed and announced the name change to the church. The Lord spoke to Elder Jones concerning new property and he searched
for it, believing God was going to reveal it. In August 2001 we had a revival. Evangelist Tracey Troy of Whiteville, NC was
our guest speaker. She gave a word of prophecy to Elder Jones that the Lord was going to increase the ministry and that probably
we would relocate. Three weeks later the property we now own came available. We pursued the property and the Lord even gave
us the exact figure that we were to pay for the property. On the day of the auction, October 11, 2001, it shut down with the
exact figure the Lord had said. After planning for the Miracle Crusade with God’s Miracle Man, Bishop Clayton Johnson,
the school informed us we could not use the Nottoway Middle School Auditorium as planned. God spoke to Elder Jones to use
the facility that He had given us. So in the two weeks before the crusade we worked diligently getting the place ready. And
on February 23, 2003 we had our first worship service in our new facility.
The Lord blessed
us in a pattern of threes just as he did Paul who prayed three times about the thorn in the flesh, Jonah who stayed three
days in the belly of the fish, and Jesus who rose on the third day. In July 2001, Elder Jones introduced the church to signing
a 90-Day Tithe Covenant agreement; three months later, October 11, 2001, we purchased our new property.
